The Jacques Izoard Room

sale-jacques-izoardAn intimate little room with a floor area of 20 sq.m., the Jacques Izoard Room is adorned with ancestral bricks and local stonework and is further enhanced by a vaulted, diagonal ribbed ceiling and marble floor.


This room is the ideal venue for small meetings (12 persons max). It also has his own entrance and provide direct access to lower courtyard and the grounds.

The Jean-Pierre Otte Room

salle-jean-pierre-otteAdjacent to the Jacques Izoard Room, with which it used to form the stables at the Château - the two rooms are decorated in identical manner - the Jean-Pierre Otte Room has a floor area of 55 sq.m. and can be configured in a number of different ways.

Two columns made from local stone support the vaulted ceiling, enhancing the room and giving it an authentic atmosphere.

The Jean-Pierre Otte Room is particularly well suited for working groups of up to 20.

The room also has its own entrance and provides direct access to the lower courtyard and the grounds.

The René Henoumont Room

salle-rene-henoumontLocated in the Château’s former hayloft and with a floor area of 85 sq.m., the René Hénoumont Room provides the best possible location for holding a seminar. Filled with light and a delight to be in, this room can accommodate a number of working groups of up to 80 people.

The René Hénoumont Room is fully fitted with presentation equipment, as well as its own comprehensive sound system.

Its walls are crafted from local stone and solid period oak framework, making the room all the more warm and inviting.

The René Hénoumont Room also has a magnificent 60 sq.m. mezzanine that can accommodate up to 30 people for a coffee break or cocktail party.

The Salle des Comtes

salle-des-comtesLocated in the heart of the mediaeval castle, in the old fortified house dating from the Roman era (11th or 12th century), the Salle des Comtes is by far the most impressive and prestigious part of the Château de Harzé.

This magnificent hall has a floor area of 90 sq.m. and is decorated with leather, said to be from Cordoba, and oak panelling. The Salle des Comtes can accommodate up to 130 people in its “theatre” configuration and is the ideal venue for holding conferences and prestige seminars.

The hall’s imposing Baroque fireplace (16th century), featuring original trammel and firedogs, as well as the centrepiece brass chandelier sparkling with a thousand lights, plunge guests into an atmosphere full of authenticity and history.
